    The HR Support position is an individual contributor within the Business Technology Support (BTS) department responsible for the ongoing support and administration of Oracle’s eBusiness Suite HR modules and Oracle HCM Cloud modules.  This position provides administration, training, and systems support while continuously analyzing current processes for enhancements with HR Business process owners and subject matter experts.  The HR Support Analyst will serve as a key IT point of contact to corporate and site HR stakeholders.  The HR Support Analyst will lead, conduct, and document business requirements and lead the functional, design, build, testing and deployment of HR HCM Cloud based solutions and enhancements to meet current and future business requirements.  The position will work closely with Southwest Gas HR resources supporting HR application operations to provide high level of service.


    • Provide Oracle HCM Cloud subject matter expertise in support of Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, HR Helpdesk, Learning, and Compensation modules.
    • Support the Oracle HR On-Prem to Oracle HCM Cloud migration project
    • Provide Oracle HRMS subject matter expertise in support of existing HR eBusiness Suite (EBS) modules such as Compensation Workbench, Performance Management, Human Resources, Advanced Benefits, Self Service & Absence Management and other modules.
    • Analyze business problems, processes & opportunities and be able to translate into requirements & recommend solutions that are consistent with HR Road Map & IT initiatives.
    • Support Oracle workflows using OAM, self-service and form personalizations, fast formulas.
    • Workswith business analysts and acts as a liaison between technical departments and business departments.  May direct work of other functional analysts.
    • Ensures industry best practices are followed.
    • Performs UAT activities including writing test scripts, training participants, and testing.
    • Perform setups such as new orgs, competencies, workflows etc..
    • Reports, logs, and manages functional issues via Oracle support for HRMS related issues.
    • Performs functional testing of HRMS modules following application enhancements and upgrades to validate system integrity and functionality.
    • Provide end-user support for the HRMS EBS and HCM Cloud modules and business processes by providing guidance, troubleshooting, resolving system issues.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials related to HRMS modules according to department standards and guidelines in conjunction with system enhancements and changes to business processes to ensure the information adheres to current Company standard practices, policies and procedures, providing end users with a resource to ensure compliance
    • Provide clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication and documentation

    Minimum Qualifications

    A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

    3+ years of experience supporting Oracles HRMS or HCM Cloud modules and solutions



    • Functional & configuration hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Core modules (Core, Talent Management, Recruiting, and HR Helpdesk)
    • Functional & configuration hands-on experience in HR Core modules (Oracle Workflow, Compensation Workbench, Manager & Employee Self Service, Advanced Benefits, Absence Mgmt)
    • Knowledge of HR & Payroll business processes & their legislative governance
    • Oracle EBS skills including requirements gathering, configuring, risk identification, issue resolution & communications at all client levels
    • Technical capabilities include basic SQL scripts & understanding of PL / SQL Language

    Salary Details

    Analyst II: $62,874 - $78,592
    Sr. Analyst: $73,234 - $91,542
    Administrator: $81,798 - $102,248
