  • Position Information

    The Energy Analyst is an individual contributor who provides analytical support to the Energy Solutions department. Upon the receipt of inquiries from potential customers, the Energy Analyst will analyze, inform, and influence the customer on the best solutions to meet their natural gas needs.
     
    In addition, this position serves as the liaison between the Company and developers to install natural gas service. The Energy Analyst manages a project from start to finish requiring communication with individuals at all levels of the project. This will require the Energy Analyst to possess excellent communication skills, and be able to determine how best to communicate in order to foster partnership and promote customer growth.
     
    This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) under Title 49 CFR Part 382 and Part 40.  Any applicant/employee who performs a DOT covered function or is licensed and would operate a commercial vehicle for the Company will be subject to drug and alcohol testing under the Company’s DOT drug and alcohol testing programs.  Any employment, transfer, or promotion offer made for this position is contingent upon taking and passing a drug test prior to the commencement of the new role.  If an applicant/employee fails the drug test, any offer of employment, transfer, or promotion will be revoked.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the Energy Solutions function by facilitating project-related relationships and tasks
    • Coordinate new business processes and contractual requirements
    • Provide analytical support to the Energy Solutions function
    • Provide customers information related to gas products and availability
    • Investigate, review and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and troubleshoot situations to provide resolutions
    • Participate in customer business meetings to coordinate the timely delivery of natural gas facilities
    • Support established programs and educate customers through effective communication
    • Make presentations to trade allies or potential customers, as required
    • Keep abreast of changes in technology or other changes in the industry
    • Participate in relevant trade associations, networking events, as required
    • Effectively communicate Demand Side Management programs to customers, as required
    • Provide Energy Solutions support materials and/or demonstration equipment to distributors, dealers and customers
    • Perform related duties and responsibilities, as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    This position requires one to three years of relevant work experience plus a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.

     

    Project management and sales experience is preferred. 

    Salary Details

    $54,737 - $68,421
