The Sr HR Support Analyst position is an individual contributor within the Business Technology Support (BTS) department responsible for the ongoing support and administration of Oracle’s eBusiness Suite HR modules by providing administration, training, and systems support while continuously analyzing current process for enhancements with HR Business process owners and subject matter experts. The Sr HR Support Analyst will serve as a key IT point of contact to corporate and site HR stakeholders. The Sr HR Support Analyst will lead, conduct, and document business requirements and lead the functional, design, build, testing and deployment of HR applications and enhancements to meet current and future business requirements. The position will work closely with Southwest Gas Applications Services resources supporting HR application operations to provide high level of service and ensure adherence to Southwest Gas’ Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Office standards.
Provide Oracle HRMS subject matter expertise in support of existing HR modules such as Payroll, Compensation Workbench, Performance Management, Human Resources, Advanced Benefits, Self Service & Absence Management and other modules.
Provide support for WorkForce Softwares Time and Attendance application.
Analyze business problems, processes & opportunities and be able to translate into requirements & recommend solutions that are consistent with HR Road Map & IT initiatives.
Lead Payroll application support on mission critical maintenance, support & enhancements.
Support Oracle workflows using OAM, self-service, form personalization, and fast formulas.
Workswith business analysts and acts as a liaison between technical departments and business departments. May direct work of other functional analysts.
Ensures industry leading practices are followed.
Performs UAT activities including writing test scripts, training participants, and testing the application before moving to production.
Perform setups such as new orgs, payroll elements, competencies
Reports, logs, and manages functional issues via Oracle support for HRMS related issues.
Performs functional testing of HRMS modules following system and application enhancements, upgrades and patches to validate system integrity and functionality.
Provide end-user support for the HRMS modules and business processes by providing guidance, troubleshooting, resolving system issues.
Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials related to HRMS modules according to department standards and guidelines in conjunction with system enhancements and changes to business processes to ensure the information adheres to current Company standard practices, policies and procedures, providing end users with a resource to ensure compliance
Provide clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication and documentation
