Position Information

The Manager/Business Technology Support (BTS) is responsible for planning, organizing and leading the effective support of applications and technology.  This position is responsible for the administration, organization and management of BTS resources.  This position is responsible for managing one or any combination of the BTS sub-departments. This position is responsible for the Company’s critical systems support including the planning, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training, problem resolution, and prioritization of enhancements for the critical systems.


  • Develop and approve the operating budgets, standards, procedures, performance appraisals, salary changes, and disciplinary actions
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate activities of assigned projects to ensure that chartered scope of project is completed within prescribed time frame and budgeted parameters
  • Manage functional reviews and operations reviews of supported departments
  • Guide and develop BTS Support teams to increase their effectiveness, problem solving and overall analytical skills
  • Oversee, organize and manage others, including contractors, who provide end user training and customer support
  • Interface with key management personnel at all levels throughout the organization
  • Provide employees feedback and coaching through performance management
  • Act as a communications conduit between end users and BTS for all matters concerning the use of technology
  • Participate in Company projects upon assignment
  • Lead BTS projects if needed
  • Ensure the efficient utilization of the application systems through standardization
  • Represent functional department as required at management and corporate meetings
  • Stay abreast of new technologies that may have a positive effect on day-to-day business operations
  • Represent the Company at industry related associations
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires eight to ten years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.  This position requires management experience. This position also requires organizational, leadership and project planning.

Salary Details

$113,088 - $141,360
