  • Position Information

    The Admininstrator/Business Technology Support (BTS) will be directly responsible for the management of Operations Systems Support (OSS), support FOMS Work Management, may manage one or any combination of sub-departments within BTS who provide support, solutions, and education to core business application users. This position provides leadership for, and takes an active role in defining, developing and providing strategic support to the operating divisions and various corporate departments to ensure objectives are achieved.  This position is responsible for providing project management direction related to Company technology projects and will assist in defining, prioritizing, and implementing a wide range of Company technology projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and approve the operating budgets, standards, procedures, performance appraisals, salary changes, and disciplinary actions
    • Manage department activities/responsibilities including planning, scheduling, staffing, monitoring, traveling, controlling, and reporting
    • Planning, leading, and coordinating activities of assigned projects to ensure that chartered scope of project is completed within prescribed time frame and budgeted parameters
    • Evaluate and report project status to upper management on a regular basis, including progress versus plan; scope changes; budget variances; vendor and consultant performance
    • Provide recommendations of new projects and direction in developing project plans
    • Provide leadership of high priority, highly complex projects requiring rigorous control and oversight
    • Manage the identification and resolution of problems, conflicts, and service requests
    • Develop contingency-remedial action plans when required
    • Provide communication of impacts regarding all systems and procedures with BTS responsibility
    • Develop and maintain cost justifications, business studies, and reports
    • Coordinate Staff activities that endorse the policies, procedures, and standards for the Company
    • Provide oversight in development of effective training curriculum and materials for division,  district, and corporate personnel for all applications supported by BTS and miscellaneous programs
    • Develop and maintain customer programs and services
    • Manage functional reviews and operations reviews of supported departments
    • Facilitate execution of system enhancements as directed by Business Process Review (BPR) Committees
    • Manage required acceptance testing of system modifications
    • Perform problem resolution studies on business issues
    • Ensure the efficient utilization of the application systems through standardization
    • Negotiate and maintain contracts for services with BTS responsibility
    • Manage creation and maintenance of end-user documentation
    • Create and maintain monthly statistics/reports for division management
    • Represent functional department as required at management and corporate meetings
    • Stay abreast of new technologies that may have a positive effect on day-to-day business operations
    • Represent the Company at industry related associations
    • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
    • Regular and predicatable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

    Minimum Qualifications

    This position requires five to eight years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.  This position requires proficient computer skills including Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel. 

     

    The ability to handle multiple diverse projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining flexibility within stressful environments is preferred. The ability to understand development and recommendations for cost effective solutions and business requirements is desirable.

    Salary Details

    $80,194 - $100,243
