Position Information

The Manager/Contract Administration directs and oversees the Contract Administration department that develops, negotiates, monitors and ensures compliance with contract terms that mitigate risk and are economically advantageous to the Company. Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the creation of contract terms, solicitations (RFPs), incoming bids, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution. This position must be knowledgeable of intricate issues such as contract law, insurances, intellectual property rights, Operation Qualification, pipeline integrity, and anti-drug and alcohol plans. 


  • Administer the development of risk mitigating terms and conditions and preparation of proposals and manage all proposal contractual activities
  • Manage Contract Analysts, Administrator, and administrative support staff
  • Assess the business risks associated with proposals and contracts and communicate with senior management, as appropriate
  • Facilitate contract disputes with appropriate Company personnel and service providers to help resolve differences, conflicts or complaints
  • Provide analytical expertise, guidance and interpretation of various Contract Administration policies
  • Interpret and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations, etc., ensuring that the Company remains in compliance
  • Design, develop and implement Company policies and procedures that relate to Contract Administration for a multi-state operation
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in contract administration, acquisition, business, management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience of over 10 years as a Contract Administrator, or related position is required.  This position must have exemplary verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that tolerates minimal errors.


A bachelor’s degree in Business plus a minimum of five years as a Contracts Manager or Supervisor in Contract Management with strong leadership skills is preferred.

Additionally, the following experience, education, and certifications are preferred:

  • Presentations and public speaking,
  • Professional business writing,
  • Computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheet creation, and PDF design,
  • Professional certification such as CPCM, CCCM, CCCA, or similar.

Salary Details

$110,870 - $138,588
